About Chinese translation
Chinese is Australia's most widely spoken language after English. Mainland Chinese documents use Simplified characters, while documents from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan generally use Traditional characters, and we translate both.
Chinese names are written family name first. We present names in the order used on your passport, and we can include the original characters alongside the English where an authority asks for it.
Chinese interpreters
We provide both Mandarin and Cantonese interpreters, so let us know which you speak when you book. Book an interpreter →
