About Persian translation

Persian, also called Farsi, is the official language of Iran. It is closely related to Dari, spoken in Afghanistan, and to Tajik.

Iranian documents use the Solar Hijri calendar. We convert dates to the Gregorian calendar and keep the original date alongside, so authorities can check both.

Persian interpreters

Persian and Dari speakers can usually understand each other, but we'll match you with an interpreter in your own variety where possible. Book an interpreter →

Common questions

Are your Persian translations NAATI certified?
Yes. Your Persian translation is completed by a NAATI certified translator and includes their stamp and certification number, which is what the Department of Home Affairs requires for translations made in Australia.
How much does Persian translation cost?
Standard one-page documents such as licences and birth certificates have a fixed price. Longer or specialised documents are quoted per job. Send us your document and we'll confirm the exact price before we start.
Can you translate English documents into Persian?
Yes. We translate in both directions: Persian to English for use in Australia, and English to Persian for use overseas or for Persian-speaking audiences.
